Infortrend Launches 25GbE Interface for SAN Storage

Infortrend Technology, a leading enterprise storage manufacturer, has announced the launch of a 25GbE Host Board for the Infortrend EonStor GS 2000/3000/4000 series. This enables organizations to adopt SAN Storage with 25GbE interface technology.

This 25GbE interface is compatible with 10GbE, providing flexibility for deployment across both 10GbE and 25GbE network environments. Each host board comes with four 25GbE ports, allowing a dual-controller system to support up to eight 25GbE ports per system.

For existing users of Infortrend EonStor GS 2000/3000/4000, firmware upgrades are available to enable support for the 25GbE interface. In the future, Infortrend also plans to extend 25GbE support to the Infortrend EonStor DS series.
