Force10 Networks Releases S4810, the First 10/40GbE Data Center Switch

November 2, 2010 – Force10 Networks, a leader in 10GbE technology and the pioneer to 40GbE/100GbE data center solution, announces the industry’s first 40 Gigabit ethernet solution for converged, high performance and automated data centers. With the new S-Series™ 10/40 GbE top-of-rack switch and 40 GbE line card for the ExaScale core switch/router, these will increase bandwidth from the data center edge to the core by 4x and simplifies the network.
